The mission of “Développement Économique Sept-Îles” is the to support decision-makers and developers in the design and implementation of projects that promote responsible economic development and are beneficial to all citizens of Sept-Iles.

“Développement Économique Sept-Îles” assists the town in its steps of economic development and its goals are the following :
- Favour Sept-Iles’s industrial, commercial and economic development in the best interest of the region;
- Promote the advantages of the town and the development opportunities with the residents, non-residents and the different levels of government;
- Accompany the promotors and the existing businesses in their business projects;
- Attract new businesses and new residents in the region;
- Accompany in the preparation of business plans.
