Our mission
The mission of “Développement Économique Sept-Îles” is the promotion with investors of the attractions and advantages of the municipality in order to favour the economic development and to improve the quality of life of Sept-Iles`s population.
“Développement Économique Sept-Îles” assists the town in its steps of economic development and its goals are the following :
- Favour Sept-Iles’s industrial, commercial and economic development in the best interest of the region;
- Promote the advantages of the town and the development opportunities with the residents, non-residents and the different levels of government;
- Accompany the promotors and the existing businesses in their business projects;
- Attract new businesses and new residents in the region;
- Accompany in the preparation of business plans.
Partnership is the essence of the actions of the managers of “Développement économique Sept-Iles” as much for the great projects as for those coming from small and medium size business. Thus, the organisation becomes a kick-starter for diversified investments. The organisation’s philosophy is guided by job creation, innovation and economic diversification.
