Sept-Iles is a regional administrative centre of great importance in the East of Quebec. As much for its strategic position on the map of the North-East of Quebec as for its will, Sept-Iles has been able to develop in order to become a real service hub and a first line decision centre. Whether regional, provincial or federal, the public administrations are present and are partners of the economic and cultural development of the town.
Aware of the importance of its role on the North Shore, the municipality supports with energy the large-scale projects while developing imaginative policies for the benefit of its citizens. Economy, environment, families and young people are among its every day preoccupations.
